HARVESTING
Harvesting of castor should be done once 3 to 5 capsules on raceme dry.
Training is done on how to avoid post-harvest losses and how to dry while maintaining the desired quality of the seeds.

DESHELLING
With 9 running decorticators, deshelling is done across all regions.
Farmers prefer selling deshelled seeds and provision of the deshelling services has eased their work.
